The King is dying and no one can identify the cause. Suspicion of dark magic brings two unlikely travelers to the castle: a monk and a warrior who share neither their real names nor their biographies, known only as Sir Monk and Sir Warrior by the few who know of them. They were nearby when the urgent summons arrived and answered without hesitation. What they find inside the palace is darker than a simple poisoning.
