Earthlock

On the tidally locked world of Umbra, a catastrophic event in antiquity froze the planet's rotation, dooming one hemisphere to eternal daylight and condemning the other to perpetual shadow, with only a thin band of habitable territory sandwiched between the two extremes. Humanity has since flourished in the ashes of a once-great civilization, building a new culture atop the remnants of that lost age. The journey centers on Amon, a ruin explorer who mines forgotten relics for survival, until circumstances thrust him into a prolonged struggle against the expansionist ambitions of the powerful Suvian Empire.
