In a world where gods take every conceivable form — deities of wind, fire, earth, water, tools, and souls elevated to divinity — humanity has finally done something unprecedented: manufactured its own gods from pure knowledge and technology. Katsuki Sayu, a high school student who lost her parents young and carries only hazy memories of her childhood, moves back to her hometown of Shiraki to live with her gentle older brother Katsuki Minato. A week into her new life at Shiraki Academy, a transfer student walks directly up to her with an impossible announcement: he is a Manufactured God from the Haruki Shrine, and both her lost memories and his divine powers were sealed away together in the same moment long ago. His name is Katsuki Ren. To recover what belongs to both of them, Sayu must help him search for the scattered fragments of a past neither of them can fully remember.
