Joey "Chips" Douglas is what you'd call a cinephile—the owner of the biggest VHS collection in Wyoming, a man who tapes everything and has seen all of it, including Space Vampires Versus Zombie Dinosaurs in Color three times in one afternoon. When his JVCC BP-5000 VCR started malfunctioning, he went to the only person who could help at that hour: Mr. Wing, the elderly owner of the corner hardware store, who sold him a VCR cleaning cassette with a thick manual in an indecipherable language and a list of strict warnings he chose not to take seriously. He inserted the cassette after midnight. Now aliens have taken up residence in his VCR and are spending their time destroying his favorite movies. Epic Loon is a couch co-op platformer in which players guide the aliens through scenes from Joey's beloved VHS collection.
