Mount Olympus has never seen a goddess as beloved as Artemiza, daughter of the Olympians and heir to Zeus's throne — brilliant, beautiful, and fully aware of both qualities. The goddess of strife Fiora, wife of the imprisoned Titan Kronus and denied a family of her own, has spent centuries resenting the smug Olympians. Her revenge is elegant and cruel: she replaces Artemiza's mirror with a Gorgon Glass, a Titan artifact that transforms whoever looks through it into a Medusa. Artemiza, who cannot help gazing upon herself, is transformed immediately. While the Olympians frantically search the cosmos, Fiora frees the Titans, captures the other young gods, and claims the throne of Mount Olympus. Artemiza must fight her way back through the chaos she walked into with her own reflection — snake hair and all.
