Firestarter

No one knows where the city of Endsville came from, but since its creation it has been consuming the world. You serve Cantido, god of black flame, and your mission is to slow Endsville's growth by setting it on fire — hiding from police, burning selectively, because if the city burns entirely you will have no place to survive. There can be no final victory. You can only burn, and burn, and trust that Cantido's blessing keeps you going.
