After the gods died, new legends began with humans. Deep inside a temple, demons that once warred against the gods have been sealed away, their prison maintained by the blood of a shrine maiden. Sara, the current shrine maiden, knows the seal is weakening — and others are coming to break it and claim the demons' power. She sets out to protect the seal. What follows will later be called a holy war.
