What if you knew about something horrible and had the power to prevent it from happening? Doki Doki Relapse is a story filled with humor and emotion, following a semi-sentient protagonist as he attempts to prevent a horrible event from occuring. All the while, he is faced and impeded with numerous other situations involving everybody's favorite literature club! Romance, comedy, and bitter elements all serve to make Relapse's lengthy story a rollercoaster of an experience.

A DDLC mod that rewrites the end of Act 1 — the fatal Monday does not happen. The week leading up to it is also reset. MC is sent all the way back to the Tuesday he first met up with Sayori, except this time he remembers everything. His mission is to prevent the events that led to the end of Act 1 while genuinely helping each of the girls with the struggles he now knows they are carrying. In the background, two self-aware entities watch: one trying to communicate with the player directly and help MC, one is the club president — still trying to pull the strings, while quietly fighting her own battles.
