Snails

Seven-year-old Dora Ditze was barely recovered from the flu when she looked out her window and found her entire neighborhood overrun by giant mutant snails from outer space. Having already eaten most of the town's residents over the course of the morning, the creatures are now focused on the handful of survivors still left — and Dora is on the menu. With no one to help her, she sets out for the local elementary school and hopes the snails do not follow.
