Arc of Alchemist

Quinn Bravesford commands soldiers in a small kingdom barely a century old, fighting campaigns against surrounding enemy nations to keep the country alive. She is selected to lead an expedition into the Desert of Beginnings carrying the Lunagear—an ancient alchemic device that, according to legend, will unlock a Great Power capable of saving humanity once its four Orbs are reunited. Quinn holds one. The other three are somewhere in the desert, along with the forces of the Principality of Neuhaven, which has dispatched its own military to find the same relic first.
