It is 1999 and self-driving cars have become self-aware and seized the highway. One woman, piloting her car the Byte Driver, carries a device of her own design that can absorb the capabilities of autonomous vehicles. Her mission: destroy the Cyber Mind, sever the connection between the self-drivers, and free the road. An homage to the 1978 arcade cabinet of the same name — a vector-graphics classic that briefly dominated arcade earnings before its failure-prone display hardware put it out of commission by 1981.
