This Winter of Ours

As day turns to dusk and the last of the grass disappears beneath snow, apprentice merchant Delia finds herself hopelessly lost and alone. With no hope of survival, she surrenders herself to the cold. Then she awakens beside an unfamiliar girl — similarly alone, and unwilling to explain herself. Despite the mystery, the girl agrees to escort Delia to safety. What begins as a brief arrangement slowly reveals that each of them holds exactly what the other needs. Will they find that treasure within each other, or will secrets and doubt consume them both?
