Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Masterpiece 1995 - 2001

Two games in one collection. Virtual-On: Earth is controlled by corporate syndicates. On a colonized planet, the DN corporation discovers ancient alien technology, reverse-engineers it into battle robots called Virtuaroids, and accidentally activates an AI that turns the test complex's Sun Cannon against civilization. DN pilots must take control of Virtuaroids and shut the rogue system down. Virtual-On Oratorio Tangram: Twenty years later, an unknown AI called Tangram has awakened. Self-conscious and hostile, it infects Earth's master computer with a virus and hijacks all Virtuaroid systems except the player's. Its goal: destroy the last surviving human colonies. Fight through every infected Virtuaroid to reach Tangram itself. Two endings depending on how the final battle resolves.
