Kei Tsushima dropped out of his fast-track university path and enrolled in night school to continue pursuing medicine — his family's plan for him. But recently he has been doubting whether the plan was ever really his. After submitting a short story to a local writing contest on impulse, he is hired to write about a band called Kacho-Fugetsu for a music production company. The condition: travel with them to a live performance. Their leader, Korekiyo Hanai, spends the journey declaring that music is meaningless. Then Kei sees them play, and nothing about his carefully planned future makes sense anymore. A visual novel about music, doubt, and the moment a person chooses their own path.
