Most of the old public servants have been removed, and the capital Metropolis needs new people. Daemon Mardoch wins the Labor Lottery and moves to the capital to work as a judge — leaving his wife and children behind for the promise of a better life and the chance to find out what happened to his father, who disappeared during the revolution. Femida is a nonlinear detective game in which every ruling has consequences, and the justice of the State is not always the same thing as justice.
