A military occupation has gone wrong. Toppling the local government created a power vacuum that the Guerillas — drug lords with local names and local loyalty — are filling faster than the Peace Force can respond. The official mission is to restore order, neutralize opposition, and prepare the ground for a legitimate government. The real mission, as Commander, is to make the war look good for politicians at home: keep casualty numbers low, protect equipment, and keep anything the press sees consistent with the official story. The campaign follows the full arc of the invasion, from the first days with derelict equipment to the final elections that let everyone go home.
