A hapless monk in a medieval cathedral has made too many errors on his manuscript. Praying for help, he is greeted by Tittivillus, patron demon of typos, who grants the monk a wondrous machine from the future to make manuscripts quickly. Is this entity actually helping, or is it too late to tell the monk that printers won't be invented for 500 years?
