Tales of Tyria

In the beginning there was only emptiness and darkness. Then the Goddess Tyria created the land and all living creatures, and people lived in peace under her gift of creation. Satisfied but tired, Tyria withdrew to rest — splitting her soul into seven Light Crysts left in sacred temples across the world to protect life in her absence. She slept for a long time. Then the portals of darkness opened and monstrous creatures poured through, spreading chaos and death. The Light Crysts still hold some divine power — enough, perhaps, for a hero to use them to open a portal to the celestial realm and restore the Goddess's peace. A fantasy RPG built around a creation myth and the world that falls apart when its creator is no longer watching.
