Your application to the Indigo Plateau trainer school in Kanto has been rejected — mostly due to lack of experience, which the school was not willing to overlook. The alternative is going out on your own and earning that experience the hard way: challenging gyms, eventually reaching the Plateau, and navigating the rise of a mysterious team that has been stealing Pokémon and terrorizing the region.
