Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Mei

It is June 1993, ten years after the Great Hinamizawa Disaster of 1983. Ichiho Kimiyoshi, a young woman from the famous Kimiyoshi clan, travels alone to the now-abandoned village where her ancestors once lived. Instead of ruins, she finds monsters. She is saved from them by Tamurahime no Mikoto, who grants her the power to fight the entities known as Tsukuyomi.
