About This Game

In 1935, Yonezo Okita left Japan and built a new life in Canada. A decade later, war transformed him from immigrant to enemy—state-sanctioned racism erasing everything he had built and everything he had hoped to pass on. His grandson leads players through an interactive virtual journey across the emotional and geographical landscape of that immigration story: what was made, what was taken, and what survives in memory. A VR documentary experience about family, distance, and the cost of history.
