Brothers Josh and Sid live comfortably in Rawal, California, until a powerful TV signal hijacks every screen in the country and rewires the minds of the population, leaving monsters in charge of the world. Their parents are missing somewhere in the wreckage of what used to be Los Angeles, and the only way to find them is to venture out into the wasteland.
