Dreamcast conversion of the Atomiswave game. It’s not emulation, it’s a conversion. The only difference is the loading times between stages (cause Atomiswave is a cartridge hardware). The King of Fighters XI is a 2D fighting game produced by SNK Playmore. It is the eleventh installment in The King of Fighters series following The King of Fighters 2003. It was originally released as a coin-operated arcade game for the Atomiswave platform in 2005.

About This Game

With the Orochi Seal stolen and Chizuru Kagura's powers drained after Ash Crimson took the Yata Mirror, the balance between fighters and the forces that monitor them has shifted dangerously. A new King of Fighters tournament is announced, hosted by a faction calling themselves "Those from the Past." Their organizers — the weapons-expert Shion and the dimension-manipulator Magaki — serve as its sub-boss and final boss. When Magaki makes a play for Orochi's power after his defeat, his own ally murders him before he can take it. A fighting game chapter where the tournament is cover for something far more dangerous.
