In modern society, the protagonist has just become a novice Zashiki-warashi — a traditional Japanese house spirit. With no home of her own to haunt, she visits Warashi Realty in search of a place to settle. To be entrusted with introducing houses, she must first prove her abilities through training under the company's owner, a veteran elder Zashiki-warashi with centuries of experience. As she endures the trials of her training, she begins to uncover the mysteries of her own past and the secrets hidden within Warashi Realty.
