Fallen London: Upwards!

A Probationary Professor is looking for assistants on a perilous venture. Her doctorate covers the ritual practices of the Starved Men, and she has a theory — described by her colleagues as brazen — about a missing heretical sect within their order. To prove it, she needs to reach the cavern roof. That means a palaeontology dig unlike any other: not down, but upwards. The Starved Men are aware of the expedition and not pleased about it.
