Street Cleaner: The Video Game

Released2021
From the dark streets of San Diego to the deepest depths of the criminal underworld, control the Street Cleaner as he takes down outlaw scum in search of justice. Street Cleaner is a modern synthwave artist based in San Diego. Inspired by action films of the '80s to write the soundtrack to a vigilante movie that never existed, he has broadened his sound from retro synth inspiration to chiptunes, darksynth, and more. Street Cleaner: The Video Game is the licensed game that would have been made based on that movie, brought to reality.

About This Game

Jack Slade hits the streets of San Diego with a singular mission: to purge the city of its criminal element through brute force and firepower. Armed with nothing but a revolver and a baseball bat, this vigilante protagonist must navigate through seven gritty stages of retro-style platforming action, confronting the depths of the underworld at every turn. The work of urban cleanup proves relentless as Slade battles his way through the criminal hierarchy, relying on his meager arsenal to survive encounters with increasingly dangerous foes in this 8-bit throwback to arcade-era violence.
