About This Game

When Earth faces conquest by invading aliens, an ordinary young man named Ataru is inexplicably selected to save humanity by challenging the aliens' champion in a game of tag. His unlikely opponent is Lum, the captivating daughter of the alien commander, and victory would mean winning back the affections of his exasperated girlfriend Shinobu, who has made it clear that only a winner deserves her hand. Against the odds, Ataru manages to tag the airborne Lum, but his celebratory shout is mistaken for a marriage proposal—one that Lum eagerly accepts, binding them together far more tightly than he ever intended. Now Ataru finds himself trapped in an unwanted relationship with an alien princess whose devotion is absolute, and whose electrical temper makes it impossible for him to even glance at another girl without consequence. This tale captures their chaotic entanglement as they navigate a world forever altered by that fateful game.
