About This Game

Ringo Ishikawa balances two worlds: by day, he's a high school senior juggling classes and homework; by night, he leads a street gang navigating the hierarchies and conflicts of delinquent life. The game grants players freedom to shape how Ringo spends his time—whether fighting rival gangs using combos and grapples, working part-time jobs, socializing at cafés and restaurants, or pursuing his studies—as a natural narrative unfolds around the themes of friendship, loyalty, and the passage into adulthood. Complementing this blend of action and slice-of-life moments is a retro-inspired visual style and atmospheric soundtrack that evoke yakuza cinema and Japanese street culture. Meanwhile, in "Arrest of a Stone Buddha," players inhabit the role of a lethal assassin moving through November 1976 with preternatural skill and precision, striking targets with single shots and commandeering weapons and vehicles as needed for escape. Between contracted kills, the protagonist rents an apartment downtown and fills quiet hours with everyday pursuits—visiting cafés, museums, and cinemas, or spending time with a lover—creating an eerie contrast between explosive violence and mundane domesticity while an unresolved central mystery shadows the entire experience.
