A century of harmony has settled over Irata following a decisive uprising that liberated the planet from colonial rule, allowing its native inhabitants to flourish. Among the former occupiers who chose to remain, the Leggites embraced martial discipline and found peaceful coexistence with the world's creatures. However, not all settlers followed this path—the spheroids abandoned civility for the criminal underworld, building a ruthless empire under the iron fist of a boss named Chunga, who uses violence and intimidation to subjugate entire communities. Confident in his untouchable position, Chunga makes a fatal miscalculation when he brings his brutality down upon Leggette and those she holds dear, setting in motion events that will test both her warrior spirit and her resolve.
