A high school boy oversleeps on the day he's planned to confess something significant to a girl, and his hurried dash to make the meeting ends in tragedy when he's struck by a car. Finding himself condemned to hell and face-to-face with a demon determined to torment him for eternity, the boy refuses to accept his fate and desperately pleads for a second chance. The demon, intrigued by his conviction, agrees to test whether his desperation is genuine enough to warrant redemption—forcing him to prove his commitment through a series of trials.
