Code Vein II

The Luna Rapacis—a parasitic force that seeps into living beings and warps them—has pushed the world past the point of ordinary survival. What it touches becomes something called a Horror: creatures of immense destructive power that cannot be stopped by ordinary means. The Resurgence, a catastrophic event tied to the Luna Rapacis's spread, collapsed civilization. What survived is an uneasy order maintained by Revenants—beings who died and came back with the rare capacity to fight Horrors on even terms. The player takes the role of one such Revenant, partnered with another, navigating a world held together by thin margins and fighting to preserve what is left of it.
