Following his extraction by Frank Woods, Russel Adler is physically free — but something inside him is not right. Meanwhile, Perseus agents Stitch, Wraith, and Knight regroup after CIA satellites disrupt their Verdansk operation. A masked operative in South Africa de-orbits two CIA satellites using a captive specialist before eliminating the loose end, while Adler leads a NATO sweep of the wreckage in Algeria — growing increasingly erratic and dangerous as the mission unfolds.
