The Cruel King and the Great Hero

The Overlord was a dragon of terrible power whose reign over the world ended when a brave Hero confronted him—and then made an unexpected choice. Rather than kill the Overlord, the Hero severed one of his horns, removing the source of his power, and then kept coming back to visit. Over time, something changed in the Overlord: the loneliness faded, replaced by something that might be called friendship. When the Hero arrived mortally wounded with an infant in his arms and a final request—raise my daughter well—the Overlord agreed without hesitation. The Cruel King and the Great Hero is a storybook RPG following that daughter, raised on tales of her father's heroism, as she sets out to become a hero herself.
