Lona is a teenager struggling with the weight of her own history, and her sketchbook is the only space where that weight becomes manageable. Her paintings represent the events of her life through two competing lenses: the logical, ordered perspective of Mr. Ruppel and the chaotic, uncontrolled view of Ms. Schmidt. The player must find the balance between these two conflicting modes to bring Lona some measure of peace. Each level and puzzle tells part of her story through visual art rather than dialogue, using the game itself as the storytelling medium for an account of extreme emotion and internal conflict.
