In the Midnight Light

Ryo wakes in the middle of a rainy night, unable to return to sleep until he confirms that his uncle, Mr. Hunter, is safe from the shadow spirits that lurk around the house. His memories of how he came to be in this situation are clouded and incomplete. The shadows speak to him as he moves through the dark, and what they say is frightening. Piece by piece, fragments of his past surface, and what they reveal reframes everything he thought he understood about the night he is living through.
