A Viking warrior chosen by fate stands as the last line of defense against Ragnarok's arrival in this Norse-inspired survival action game. You are tasked with protecting Yggdrasil's sacred seed, which rests at the center of your village and represents the world's final hope against annihilation. During daylight hours, you venture into procedurally shifting landscapes to scavenge materials, craft weaponry and fortifications, and uncover what dangers lurk in the unexplored reaches beyond your settlement. When darkness descends, hordes of supernatural threats—skeletal undead, twisted elves, massive trolls, and colossal giants—converge on your village with the sole purpose of destroying the seed and ushering in the world's end. Fighting solo or joining forces with other warriors, you must repel wave after wave of increasingly formidable enemies, growing in power each day while the threats mount, locked in an escalating battle to prevent doomsday from becoming inevitable.
