Vampire: The Masquerade — Out for Blood is a text-based interactive horror novel set in the World of Darkness. You have just moved to Jericho Heights on the edge of Chicago, trying to build a new life — meeting people, finding stability, maybe finding love. Then your neighbors start disappearing, and you discover that vampires are embedded in the community. Chastain is more than a century old and has established a sphere of influence that will not yield easily. A group of young thin-blood vampires have declared war on Chastain, and the player must decide where they stand: side with one faction, hunt them all, try to be Embraced, or simply survive. Character attributes, skills, and approaches to the problem — scientific, faith-based, or occult — are all player choices.
