Fifty years after the original events, Speedwagon — now the CEO of a globally recognized foundation — has located an ancient temple in Mexico containing more stone masks and what appears to be a carved figure embedded in a pillar. Meanwhile, Jonathan Joestar's grandson, Joseph, has discovered he can harness Hamon just as his late grandfather did. Joseph does not yet understand that the discovery in Mexico has put the entire world in danger, and that the responsibility for confronting what was found there has fallen on him.
