Daiki Matsuzaki was being talked about as the future ace pitcher of the baseball team before an injury caused a trauma that left him unable to throw a ball at all. His younger childhood friend Yuri Nanami has decided to do something about it. With guidance from the senior team manager Suzumori Satsuki, Yuri supports Matsuzaki through practice sessions and whatever other forms of encouragement she can offer. As they spend more time together, the feelings between them begin to change. Both of them care about baseball. Both of them are starting to care about each other. How to hold both things at once is what they are learning together.
