Keyword: A Spider's Thread

Keyword is a narrative thriller in which the player takes the role of Guo, a father searching for his missing daughter Sala. The tools available are the same ones that would be used to solve the problem in reality: logical deduction, email and social media hacking, dark web investigation, and watching the neighbors through binoculars to gather information that does not surface through conventional channels. There are no dialogue prompts to guide the investigation — the player's natural intuition determines the next step. The investigation also uncovers things about Guo's own past that he has not fully processed, and as the timeline of events begins to fracture, the distinction between what really happened and what he remembers becomes uncertain. Set in Toronto.
