Legends of Murder Collection

Legends of Murder collects two classic mystery RPGs from Softdisk Publishing. Volume 1 — Stonedale Castle: the King has been killed and the Inspector, a magically talented sleuth, has been summoned from across the sea by the King's former elven advisor. The castle is full of suspects, hidden passages, and people who would prefer the investigation to fail. Combat and spellcasting are available for anyone who tries to stop the inquiry. Volume 2 — Grey Haven: the Inspector is called again when the apprentice of a wizard is found dead. The murderer is still in the town of Grey Haven. Interviews, evidence, cryptic puzzles, and direct confrontations with attackers are all required to reach a verdict before another victim appears. Both games feature full inventory management, NPC dialogue, and a detective who is prepared to fight as well as reason.
