Before Camelot existed, magic flowed freely through Albion and the people understood how to use it carefully, with an awareness that all such power required balance. That ended the day King Uther Pendragon blamed magic itself for his queen's death and drove it and its practitioners out of the kingdom forever. Now, with magic gone, the land is deteriorating. Crops die. Water spoils. The people grow weaker and less able to resist the Saxon armies pushing in from the east, who are rumored to have the support of the exiled Masters of the Old Religion. One warrior stands against all of it — Saxon soldiers, demonic creatures, possessed knights, undead, and worse — across a journey through dark forests, swamps, frozen wastes, castles, crypts, and caverns. Magic is available to the player, with fire, ice, and lightning each offering different tactical applications. The heads of enemies can be removed. The combat is honest about what it is.
