Ayakoji Mansion sits deep in a dark forest and carries a long reputation for things that cannot be easily explained. Professor Yamanobe brings a group of students there to investigate the truth behind the mansion's supposed curses. They go missing. Homura — the professor's son — arrives with friends of his own, searching for his father inside whatever the mansion has become. Whether they find him, and what condition they will be in if they do, is what the story is about.
