Justice League Task Force ends with Darkseid defeated and fleeing into another dimension. He has reason to go there: the Anti-Life Equation is in this particular dimension, and he intends to find it and use it to dominate every universe that exists. The dimension turns out to be a parallel world where Darkseid and every being he knows are understood only as characters in comic books. It is populated by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
