Ruby: Huntress of Vale

An alternate universe of RWBY in which there is no Salem and no OZ war, and Grimm are simply a natural force rather than a coordinated threat. Team RWBY graduated as Hunters without the Fall of Beacon, and then gradually went their separate ways. Weiss returned to Mantle to take her place at the SDC. Yang and Blake are working together in Faunus-Human political spaces and building something meaningful in the counter-White Fang movement. Ruby has been roaming Sanus, living the huntress life she always wanted. After months of it, she is finding that the solo work hits differently than she expected — something is missing from the life she built. She talks Weiss into taking a break from the SDC for a hunt. What they stumble into on that hunt will change Remnant's future in ways neither of them saw coming.
