Legend holds that deep within an endless desert lie the dry ruins of an ancient city that was once submerged — and at its heart, a source of water without limit. The Submariner goes in through the city's defenses, navigating a labyrinth of halls and mechanisms toward the heart of it. Water is nearly gone from the Submariner's world, making this heist something more than theft. An unlikely ally — a pot plant companion — represents what remains of nature and works alongside the Submariner through both the past and present forms of the city, each layer revealing more of what the place actually was and what it contains.
