Valentine's Day, 2011. Someone has stolen the ultimate wishing device from a forest in California. Vanhomrigh-Lennepkade — an extremely old human being with four eyes and two wings — has been assigned to retrieve it. Simultaneously, and without obvious connection, an average young man is arriving home from college.
